Responsibilities

  • Assist with the growth of retail e-commerce and brick/mortar revenue streams
  • In charge of marketing calendar for retail and online platforms
  • Manage in-store visual representation
  • Drive retail marketing efforts (ie. promotion of products)
  • Drive traffic to our neko neko cat stores consistently (eg. social media marketing, roadshows, events)

Job Requirements:

  • Good knowledge of product and consumer trends, and retail marketing strategies.
  • Creative individual with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent verbal and written proficiency in English;
  • Prior professional marketing experience in retail industry preferred
  • Meticulous attention to detail, willing to learn;
  • Be able to work independently and proactively;
  • A love for cats is a must!

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the grooming salon
  • Perform advanced grooming-specific tasks for cats in a safe, cage-free, and stress-free manner
  • Including but not limited to scissoring, showering, styling, spa, nail clipping, paw pad shaving
  • Inspect cats for external signs of infection, parasites, injury and/or disease
  • Maintain exceptional standards of facility safety, hygiene and tidiness
  • Accept and co-ordinate grooming appointments

Skills and Abilities Required

A love of cats ranks among the top qualities we require for the people we select to grow our team. You must be exceptionally passionate about caring for our feline charges, be unafraid to place their safety before yours, and remain committed to their well-being and care.

  • Age 18 and above
  • Singaporeans or PR only
  • Prior experience working with cats required
  • Computer literate – Email, Microsoft/iOS Office
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin. Bahasa Melayu advantageous.
  • SKC grooming certificates are advantageous but not a requirement to apply.

Who Is An Ideal Candidate for this Role?

  • You have a basic to intermediate understanding of cats, and cat behaviour. Knowledge of cat nutrition and health is advantageous.
  • You can multi-task and work independently.
  • You possess a great passion and love for cats of all ages and temperaments
  • You are patient, kind, and detail-oriented
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Graduating from Nekomori’s Professional Cat Grooming Course is extremely advantageous but not necessary.
