Participants are required to bring their own cat to the workshop, as the class includes demonstrations and hands-on practice that require you to work with your own cat.
Important Rules When Bringing Your Cat to Class:
1. You are responsible for your own cat
Each participant must supervise and handle their own cat at all times during the workshop. Our instructors will guide you, but they are not responsible for managing individual cats.
2. Cats must stay on your assigned table when out of the carrier
When your cat is taken out of the carrier, please ensure they remain on your assigned table unless instructed otherwise. Do not allow your cat to roam freely around the classroom, as this may stress other cats.
3. Do not handle another student’s cat without permission
For safety reasons, please do not pick up, carry, or interact with another participant’s cat unless the owner and instructor have given permission.
4. Keep your cat secured when not handling them
When not actively working with your cat, please place them back in their carrier or secure them safely on your table.
5. Parents attending with children
If children are attending the class, a parent or guardian must ensure the cat is properly supervised at all times.
6. Our priority is the cats’ comfort and safety
If a cat becomes too stressed, the instructor may advise placing the cat back in the carrier or stopping handling for a while.
