No — every customer account automatically comes with a NekoWallet.

You only need to top it up before you can start using it.

NekoWallet is designed for cat parents who use grooming, boarding and retail regularly.

The $1,000 starting balance helps you set aside a meaningful amount for your cat’s ongoing care — so your wallet is always ready when you need it.

All future top-ups also begin from $1,000, keeping the wallet simple, consistent and easy to manage.

This structure also allows cashback from boarding and retail to flow back into your wallet smoothly after each visit.

Can I top up with a smaller amount?

Not at the moment. To keep usage seamless, all NekoWallets start from $1,000.

Does the balance expire?

Wallet credits remain valid for 1 year, but every time you earn cashback, the validity automatically refreshes, so regular users almost never lose balance.

Do all services earn cashback?

Boarding (10%) and selected retail items (5%) earn cashback.

Grooming does not earn cashback — instead, it comes with softer weekday and weekend rates when paid via NekoWallet.

Can I part-pay with my wallet and the rest by another method?

No — NekoWallet must cover the full payment amount. This prevents small leftover balances and keeps transactions simple.

Where can I use my NekoWallet?

Across all Neko Neko outlets, Nekomori Cat Salons and Nekoya Cat Hotels, for both in-store and online bookings (where applicable).

Can I get a refund on my wallet balance?

NekoWallet is a stored-value system and is not refundable once topped up.

Wallet credit is meant to be used over time for your cat’s ongoing care.

How do I top up?

Online top-ups are instant via Shopify checkout.

What happens if I cancel a booking?

A $40 deduction applies for late cancellations (under 48 hours) or no-shows.

If you keep a $40 balance, you’ll also enjoy deposit-free grooming bookings.

Can more than one cat share the same wallet?

Yes — the wallet belongs to your customer account, so you can use it for any of your cats.

How do I check my balance?

Your current balance will be visible in your customer account dashboard at checkout and in your profile.
