What This Class Focuses On

Cat nutrition is one of the most talked-about and misunderstood areas of cat care. With so much conflicting advice online, many owners are left unsure if they’re feeding their cats correctly or harming them unintentionally. In this class, you’ll learn how a cat’s nutritional needs differ from other animals, what role moisture, protein, and feeding routines play in overall health, and how to read food labels more confidently. The class also addresses common concerns such as wet versus dry food, hydration, treats, and supplements, helping owners separate evidence-based guidance from marketing noise.

Learning Outcomes

Interpret ingredients and claims without relying on marketing language.

Decide between wet, dry, mixed feeding, treats, and supplements appropriately.

Apply practical feeding routines that support hydration, digestion, and overall wellbeing without overcomplicating daily care.
