Opportunities as a Cat Caretaker
At work, you will:
• Manage daily operations at our cat boarding facilities
• Ensure cats in your care are fed and cared for based on instructions left by their owners
• Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness of the hotel premise, cat lodging accommodations and equipment
• Facilitate the smooth arrival and departure of clients
• Communicate with clients regarding the wellbeing of their cats in their absence
• Record detailed information about cats in your care
Your skills should include:
• Confidence in handling cats with a variety of temperaments
• Strong digital literacy (Google Drive, E-mail, WhatsApp)
• Prior experience with cat-sitting or cat grooming is advantageous
We want you for this role if:
• You are adaptable can multi-task and work independently
• You have a basic to intermediate understanding of cat care and cat behaviour
• You possess a strong love for cats of all ages and personalities
• You are meticulous in your work, keen in your observations and enjoy being on your feet
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Not afraid to get your hands dirty and enjoy cleaning
• You are quick on your feet
At work, you will:
• Provide care for cats to clients who engage cat-sitting services
• Ensure cats in your care are fed, and cared for based on instructions left by their owners
• Attend client meet and greets, perform house visits and discuss tailored care arrangements for cats
• Keep connected with clients through digital messaging platforms like WhatsApp, ensuring efficient communication and updates.
• Manage appointments and travel to kitties' homes.
Your skills should include:
• Firm understanding of cat behaviour
• Cat grooming, first-aid and the ability to respond calmly in emergency situations
• Confidence in handling cats of various temperaments
• Administering oral medication, subcutaneous fluids

• You have a basic to intermediate understanding of cat care and cat behaviour
