She has been pet sitting for several years in both the US and in SG, and has experience providing medical treatment to sick kitties. She has 1 cat of her own and loves to meet new ones when she can.

This is Module 01 of our Cat Care Foundation Series. Created for first-time cat parents, this four-class series provides a welcoming introduction to essential cat care.  Over 2.5 weeks, you’ll build confidence step by step in a small, supportive group of fellow cat owners.

Our classes are conducted in English to ensure clear communication and a consistent learning experience for all participants.

Please note that SkillsFuture credits are not applicable for these classes.

Who is this class for?

This class is designed for new and first-time cat owners, as well as anyone preparing to bring a cat home. It’s also suitable for owners who want a clearer understanding of everyday cat care basics. No prior experience is required.

Is there an age requirement?

Yes. The minimum age is 12 years old. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

I’ve already owned cats before. Will this still be useful?

Yes. Many owners attend to revisit fundamentals, clarify common uncertainties, or better understand why cats behave and respond the way they do.

Is the advice very strict or rule-based?

No. The class focuses on principles and understanding, rather than rigid rules. We recognise that every cat and household is different, and care decisions should be realistic and adaptable.

Will my cat need to attend the class?

No. Cats do not attend the class. Learning is done through examples and discussion so you can focus fully without worrying about your cat’s comfort.
