Cat models provided

All live cat models are provided by Neko Neko Academy. Students are not required to bring their own cats, and all cats used are selected and cared for with welfare as the top priority.

Will I receive SKC or ISFC certification after completing the Certification Preparatory Course?

No. The Certificate Preparation Course does not award an SKC or ISFC certification. These certifications are issued only by their respective organisations after candidates pass the official examination. This course prepares students for the exam, not instead of it.

Do I need to complete other courses before enrolling?

Yes. Students are expected to have completed foundational and advanced grooming training, or possess equivalent experience, before joining this course. This ensures the focus remains on exam preparation rather than skill acquisition.

Do I need to bring my own cat?

For the actual certification exam, candidates are typically required to bring their own cat model, in line with exam regulations.

 

During the Certificate Preparation Course, guidance will be provided on how to prepare and assess a suitable model. Mock exam sessions may require students to practise with their own cats, depending on the stage of preparation.
