Cat Grooming Artisan
Do you have creative flair and want to make a positive difference in the way our companion cats are cared for? We’re on the prowl for talented cat groomers to join our team!
At work, you will:
- Manage daily operations of our grooming salons
- Perform advanced grooming-specific tasks for cats in a safe, cage-free, and stress-free manner
- Advise cat owners on how they can improve the quality of care for their cats
- Inspect cats for external signs of infection, parasites, injury and/or disease
- Maintain exceptional standards of facility safety, hygiene and tidiness
- Accept and co-ordinate grooming appointments
Your skills should include:
- A love of cats ranks among the top qualities we require for the people we select to grow our team. You must be exceptionally passionate about caring for our feline charges, be unafraid to place their safety before yours, and remain committed to their well-being and care.
- SKC or equivalent grooming certification, or;
- Prior working experience in pet grooming facilities
We want you for this role if:
- You are confident in grooming companion animals and wish to hone your skills in cat grooming specifically
- You have a basic to intermediate understanding of cat care and behaviour
- You possess a great passion and love for cats of all ages and temperaments
- You are patient, firm, and detail-oriented
- You possess good communication and interpersonal skills

Grooming Assistant
Posted to work at one of our salons, you will assist our Artisans in day-to-day operations and learn to meet the physical demands of cat grooming.
Salary range: $2,000+
Grooming Artisan Training
For promising individuals, our feline-focused grooming academy is structured to ensure that students who come through our doors are well-equipped with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills they will need to safely and professionally handle companion cats.
Grooming Technician
Upon acquiring a basic certification in Professional Cat Grooming, you will begin your journey as a groomer. Putting your knowledge and skills to use, Grooming Technicians can perform basic grooming, provide salon consults and take their own appointments.
Salary Range: $3,000 - $4,000
Grooming Artisan
After clocking sufficient training and serving a minimum salon attachment, attend further training for official grooming certification.
Salary Range: $5,000+
